Indian Creek Residence

The Indian Creek Residence landscape was originally designed and installed over a decade ago. The family recently purchased an adjacent 1-acre lot and contacted me to design the expansion, which would be devoted entirely to sports and entertaining friends. We created a strictly native Chickee Hut as our focal point. It was built by the Seminole Indians using Cypress logs and Sabal thatch palms, with dramatic floor lighting. The expansion also included a full basketball court, a tennis court with modular netting, a sand volleyball court, a grass area for field sports and an outdoor gym with exercise equipment. The result is a one-of-a-kind South Florida playground!
